This autumn hike above the Isarco valley takes us to Albions and Fraina past the Lusenegg and Fonteklaus residences

Today the sun hides behind the fog, blocking our view. However, the marvellous autumn landscape on the slopes of the Isarco valley in the area of Laion makes this hike still an unforgettable experience. We start in Laion where we follow path no. 5 to Albions and then path no. 5A through a broadleaved forest before arriving at the Lusenegg residence.
At this point the descent ends and we need to tackle a rather long ascent. The initially paved path turns into a forest path leading to the Fonteklaus residence (with restaurant). From here, we climb the steeper path no. 4 to Fraina. Having reached the top, we return to Laion alogn the wide forest path no. 6.
