The Valgardena valley does not only offer traditional Ladin dishes, but also culinary delights of the Italian cuisine.
Part of the Ladin culture is of course also the Ladin cuisine. Still today typical dishes such as “Crafuncins” (staffed pasta) or “Puessl” (apple pancake, cut into small pieces) are served in local restaurants. In fact, traditional recipes are passed on from generation to generation and are still in use exactly for this reason. Due to new habits and also the wide selection of food of these days, the cuisine has slightly been adapted, but mainly preserved its original character.
Of course also international dishes are served by most of the restaurants, so there is something for every taste. Bun pró!
