UNIKA Art Fair

The UNIKA art fair has been held every year in late summer since 1994 at the Tennis Centre in Roncadizza near Ortisei. There, 34 UNIKA artists, including sculptors, polychromers, gilders and ornamental sculptors, exhibit their unique creations. 200 works are on display, including sculptures (many carved from wood), paintings and photographs.

Take the opportunity to meet the artists in person and experience the craftsmanship tradition of the Val Gardena first-hand! Each piece is an expression of the respective artist's creative power and talent. Some of the exhibited works are part of the Cultural Olympiad - The Arts Programme, a multidisciplinary initiative that conveys Olympic values by connecting culture, tradition and sport, and celebrates creativity as a universal language.

A cultural programme completes the UNIKA art fair in the Val Gardena. The stated aim of UNIKA is twofold: the direct marketing of the unique pieces on display and the promotion of emerging talent in the arts and crafts professions.
