ART52 Exhibition

The Val Gardena has a four-hundred-year tradition of wood carving. The products of this craft are known throughout the world today and are valued for their high quality. 52 artists and exhibitors have joined forces in the permanent exhibition at the Cultural Centre in Ortisei.

In the ART52 Exhibition, they provide a comprehensive insight into contemporary wood sculpture and carving across a 330 sqm area. The exhibition features hand-carved wooden sculptures, religious and secular motifs, paintings, and modern interpretations. The variety and originality of the artworks attest to the masterful use of local materials and traditional craft techniques.

You can admire them daily in the spacious showrooms. Each piece is marked with a trademark from the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce, and a certificate also guarantees its authenticity.
