Luis Trenker

Luis Trenker was a mountaineer with heart and soul.

The all-rounder Luis Trenker (1892-1990) is probably one of the most famous people of Val Gardena. Known also by young people, he is especially popular with our parents and grandparents. He made history not only as a writer, stage director and actor; he also was a talented architect and mountaineer.
