Unfortunately today it is foggy and we have no chance for clear views, but the autumnal landscape on the hillsides of the Valle Isarco in the area of Laion makes this walk still a beautiful experience. Our starting point is Laion, here we take the path n° 5 towards the village of Albions. From there we walk further on the path n° 5A to the Lusenegg Residence.
Until this point we walked downhill but now a quite long ascent follows. First along the asphalt road then through the forest to the Fonteklaus Residence (with restaurant). The next ascent leads us to the small village of Fraina (marker n° 4). On the top we follow the path n° 6 to come back to Laion along a pleasant wide forest road.
