Every year in December, a fascinating event takes place in Val Gardena: the World Cup. Join this exciting event and watch your red-hot favourite in action. The tension is almost unbearable. And after the race you can look forward to a highly diversified social program, ranging from hilarious parties to funny shows, the “Fan Club Parade” and much more.

Since the 2004 World Cup, a new special highlight is waiting for you: At one of the decisive stages of the Saslong run a huge screen was installed so that the enthusiastic audience can watch the thrilling event from truly every point of view!

World Cups have been organised in Val Gardena since 1969 already. Among the famous athletes setting a record on the Saslong run were Kristian Ghedina, Antoine Deneriaz, Franz Klammer, Rob Boyd and Peter Müller.
