Sella Ronda Bike Day 2009

On July 12, the roads round the Sella alpenstock are reserved for cyclists, while motorized vehicles are not permitted.

Goodbye to pollution and exhaust fumes, at least for one days… also this year the popular Sella Ronda Bike Day takes place. On July 12, cyclists from all over will cycle round the Sella alpenstock via four impressive Dolomite passes.
From 9 am to 3.30 pm the four passes Passo Sella, Gardena, Pordoi and Campolongo are exclusively reserved for cyclers, while motorized vehicles are not allowed. The Sella Ronda Bike Day is not a race agains time, but everyone can cycle at his pace and no one has to hurry.
